CUPSS Community Call – July 31, 2013

The Check Up Program for Small Systems (CUPSS) offers a basic approach to asset management designed specifically for smaller communities.  The CUPSS Community includes small water and wastewater system personnel, state drinking water and wastewater regulatory program staff, technical assistance providers, community or water association members, or anyone interested in sustainable water infrastructure.  On a quarterly basis, these individuals get together via conference call to hear about new activities, updates, and implementation strategies from CUPSS practitioners.  The next CUPSS Community Call is scheduled for July 31st.

West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources, Bureau for Public Health requires the development of an asset management plan as a condition of accepting grant and loan funding from the state’s Drinking Water Treatment Revolving Fund. This call will feature their approach in encouraging the use of CUPSS to create an asset management plan through a 14 month step-by-step process.
